Hello!

I'm testing TAS5760 on my new pcb, my problem is that without speakers connected the current consumption and thus the heating of the amplifier is rather high. The same test with the EVB TAS5760xxEVM not cause current consumption.

The register of the amplifier are configured in the same way.

What's the problem??

Hi, Giovanni,

Typical class-d output filters can not be run open circuit. The load is a dependent factor in the filter.

Hi Don,

thanks for your answer, I have found the reason for the anomalous behavior of the amplifier...bootstrap capacitors were mounted to an incorrect value (220pF instead of 220nF). Now are ok!
