Hi Panson,

Can you please try the register writes listed in the datasheet for 192KHz native processing mode? It can be found on page 43 (5.4.1) of the datasheet.

Okay, I will try that.

I use an Arduino board to control my TAS5548 board. Everything is basically operating. However, there is a little issue. If I send a reset pulse from one Arduino board's digital pin to the /RESET pin of TAS5548, TAS5548 is not operating properly. The reset pulse low time was 2 msec. I2C started 10 msec after the pulse set high. With the reset pulse, I2C communication was not correct. TAS5548 could not be configured properly. Do you have any idea?

I tried 500 msec. It failed.

Then 1000 msec (1 sec). It worked.

Yes, I did. The reset pulse was correct.

I found another problem with setting input mixers of TAS5548 (using TI 5548 EVM). If I use input mixer knobs of the GUI, I can change input mixer setting as desired. If I write the register directly from Direct I2C Access tab, I can not change the mixer. Logic analyzer shows desired I2C signal is sent to 5548. However, there is nothing changed. Same problem is encountered with my Arduino + 5548 platform.

I observed that whenever changing knobs of input mixer in the GUI, register 0x00 is read first, before writing 0x41, 0x42, ... Why? Is it necessary?

I can change output mixer with Direct I2C Access.

The I2C issue with my Arduino code was due to the original buffer size (32 bytes) defined in Wire library. I changed it to 64 bytes. Everything then works just fine.

I just brough TAS5548EVM and have to interface it with Purepath Control Console, but i didn't find TAS5548 as Target, or i may missing some basics.

please assist how to interface it with Purepath GUI, or i need ControlConsole
