I have built my own TAS5548 board. If /RESET, /PDN and /MUTE are left floating, does the internal oscillator start after applying power to the chip? Will I see 12.288 MHz "sine" wave at XTALI (pin 11)? (No I2S connected)

I made a mistake in the layout shorting the connected crystal. With that fixed, the oscillator is running after power applied.

Yes, you can leave them floating. They all have 20uA internal weak pullups so logic will be held high. More info can be found in the datasheet pg. 5-6: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tas5548.pdf
