TAS5760M 96kHz Operation Before Appling Power Supply

Hi,

We would like to use in the 96kHz@fs operation before applying the power supply.
If it is possible, could you please tell us this procedure?
Since if this device becomes the single speed mode in default setting, does the clock error occur?

Hi Don-san,

We believe this issue as below.
Is our understanding correct?

If we would like to use TAS5760M with 96kHz@fs using software control after turning on the power supply,
we should set registers regarding the 96kHz operation before applying each clock.
However, this procedure is different the description on page 54 of data sheet.

Kato-san,

It's recommended in d/s to power TAS5760M before applying the I2S clock on page 54, but applying 96kHz before powering up 3.3V should be fine for TAS5760M. Page 54 of TAS5760M d/s recommends applying stable clocks before configuring registers, which is the same as what you asking if you can do. Please ensure you keep /SPK_SD low until all registers are written and you're ready to play audio.
