Good days,

May we check if TPA3118D2 EVB C21/22/23/24 can use small size(0603) capacitor?

May here have any suggestion for L1~L4 choice?what parameter we need notice?

    Hi, Bogey,

    Changing the caps from the ones we recommend in the EVM Users Guide (here) will most likely result in an increase in THD. If you can accept the increased THD, then you can use smaller body size capacitors. You will have to evaluate the performance of your desired caps to see if you can live with the decrease in THD.

    The component information we used for L1-L4 is listed in the EVM Users Guide (here).

    This app note discusses output LC filter design in detail.
