I note this application report is new as of this month.  I spotted an inversion error in the example.  The formula calls for the ripple current through the inductor , ΔIL, to have the value:

ΔIL = 0.4 × Eout × Iout / Ein

In the example Eout and Ein are transposed, giving an answer of 0.424 Amperes, when, assuming the original formula is correct, the answer should be 3.40 Amperes.  This results in changing the inductor value in the subsequent calculation from 2.6 μH to 0.326 μH.  A significant error.

Also, I note that the application note as well as the product release description mix physics and unit notations, referring to I and V instead of using either I and E or else A and V, as is required for unit consistency.  I'd recommend assigning one system or the other as a point of editorial policy to avoid potential confusion (pun intended).
