Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320ADC3101EVM-K
I recently purchased one of these TLV320ADC3101EVM-K EVMs for the ADC3101. The EVM arrives with no CD, just a note instructing me to search for 'TLV320ADC3101EVM-K' in the search window at www.ti.com. I do so, and pull down slau267.pdf, the EVM User's Guide. It directs me to pull down the GUI software, slac248.zip, which I do. I follow all the steps in the guide as to how to install the software, using the default directory locations. This 'completes' successfully. Then I plug in the USB cable to the EVM, but WindowsXP cannot find the driver for the 'new device'. The EVM user's guide says that I should let Windows find the driver automatically, but it doesn't. I then look through the unzipped files, and can't find any .sys nor .inf. When I run the GUI program, it indicates that the EVM is not connected.
This has happened on two different WinXP PCs.
What is the name of the driver file(s) that Windows should load, and where does the installation place the file(s)?
