CodecControl and AGC

Hello all! I am using the CodecControl sw with the AIC3212 EVM. Very time saving piece of software!

There does seem to be an issue with AGC configurations; Clicking the top or bottom (left ch or right ch) AGC blue rectangle opens up a window that controls and monitors only the left AGC. Bus sniffing validates this. (Register 0x5D is polled in both cases; Left AGC Gain)

Have I missed somthing? Or is there a glitch in the software?

Hi Ran,

Yes, that is correct. The CodecControl SW only implements the left AGC. The actual silicon does support the right ADC AGC, but it was not implemented in the GUI SW.

Oh well. Wire crossing it is then!
