Hi,

I received a question from the customer.

The question is "How much is Consumption Current(typ, max)@20W/4Ω, 20W/8Ω, 30W/8Ω?"

In this case, are each Consumption Currents almost the current the current flowing to the load?

When the condition is 20W/4Ω, is it correct that sqrt(20W/4Ω)?

Hi, Kiramochi-san,

You are close, but you need to factor in the efficiency of the amplifier. This will increase the needed current. There is a plot in the data sheet that shows efficiency for different conditions.

I understood what I must think the efficiency.
When the efficiency is 90% @20W/4Ω, is it correct that sqrt(20W/4Ω)/0.9?

And, the datasheet shows only the typical condition.

Is there the way to know the max condition ?

You got it!

We don't spec min/max/typ for efficiency because it is affected by different parameters in the customer's design, so they must evaluate the efficiency in their system.
