Confirm the MCLK connection

Dear all,

Please let me confirm the following question/

[Question]

Is there any problem for the connection of MCLK such as below in case of using the Codec as Master?

I know that you show the following connection on Application note(slaa469.pdf).

I would like to know whether we should connect the crystal clock(24M/12MHz) to the both CPU and Codec.

Hi Don,

I forgot to describe the target device.

The target device is DAC3101.

From a DAC point of view you do not have to connect the MCLK to the uC. The uC must be able to handle the clocks generated by the DAC.
