It will depend a bit on how the transfer is to be made. Will both parts be powered up, is this the class-ab or the class-d output? Ideally you would add an analog switch on the output, but if that is not possible, i would recommend leaving the TAS2505 powered up but turning off the driver on the unused output via the registers. If the TAS2505 is powered down, you could get reverse current flow through the output.
