AIC3262 implications of supporting 6 Ohm speaker

We have designed in the AIC3262 and want to use a lower cost speaker that is 6 ohms.
Given that the 3262 is spec'd to 7.2 Ohms speaker resistance, what are the implications of using it with a 6 ohm speaker.

Would putting a 2 ohm resistor in series be an option, knowing that some power would be wasted in the resistor?

Thank you.
