PCM1863 datasheet issue

The PCM1863 datasheet, revision "SLAS831B–MARCH 2014–REVISED MARCH 2014" seems to be internally inconsistent with regards to pinout. Figure 2 and Table 1 show different assignments for pins 9-14, and a board designed per Table 1 exhibited some exciting behavior at first power-on. Is it safe to say that Figure 2 is correct? Thanks.

Thank you, Don. Another datasheet issue:

Page 7, Table 1, Pin 26 (MD0): "Control Method Select Terminal: I2C (tied high) or SPI (tied low)"
Page 42, Table 14: "Low I2C Mode, High SPI Mode"
Page 57, Figure 57, pin 26: "3.3V(I2C Select)"

Looks like the consensus is that MD0 low = SPI mode? Thanks.
