Hi,

Could you please tell us the terminal processing of the unused channels which you recommend for the single BTL channel operation?
We are considering as below.

1. Unused Input Configuration
The pins of INPUT_C and INPUT_D are connected to GND pin directly.

2. Unused Output Configuration
The pins of OUT_C and OUT_D are floating, the external LC filter components are removed.

3. Unused Channel Bootstrap Configuration
The bootstrap capacitor is connected between BST_C(BST_D) and OUT_C(OUT_D).

4. Mode Selection Pins Configuration
The mode pins is {M3, M2, M1} = 000b or {M3, M2, M1} = 010b.

Could you please give me your advice if I have any misunderstanding?

    Hi Kato-san,

    Yes, please follow table 2 in the DS regarding unused output channels.

    MODE 010, CD unused, INPUT_A=PWMa, INPUT_B=PWMb, INPUT_C=GND, INPUT_D=GND, LC filter and bst caps are unstuffed on channels C and D. Channels C and D are disabled due to SA fault at inputs.

    PVDD decoupling caps for all channels still need to be mounted.

    I understood that the bootstrap capacitors should be removed for channels of C and D, the mode pins should be {M3, M2, M1} = 010.
