Sirs,

      We are planning on using the LM48511 in a portable application powered by a battery that goes from 3.7 volts down to about 3.0 volts. The speakers are 4 ohms.

I understand from the data sheet how to set the gain of the LM48511, but what should I set it to?

The only information I have is that in the chip driving the LM48511, it says the output is 778mV RMS max

How do I work backwards from wattage output to db to output voltage to input voltage to get the gain number?
