TLV320AIC3256 date code

Michel Ots

I need to find the date codes of several TLV320AIC3256IRSB's but I can't find the correct explanation for these. Some top markings I have are:

AIC 3256I TI 22J P278 G4

AIC 3256I TI 3AJ P3E2 G4

I hope someone knows which part is the date code and how to translate it.

Hi Don,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I can't find an explanation of the marking, more specific the date code, through the link you gave me. It just describes the package code and clicking an image doesn't lead to extra info.

So I still need to find out how to translate the marking on an RSB package to a date code.

Hi Don,

Unfortunately I haven't been able to link the component marking to a date code format so I haven't been able to figure out the real date.

Hi, Michel,

Sorry, I can't find a good link for you, but:

22J = 2012 Feb (J is our assembly site code)

3AJ = 2013 Oct

First digit = year

Second digit = month (in base 12)
