TPA321

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA6205A1

I am designing a bluetooth headset using a .3w, 16or 32 ohm impedance speaker. I am currently using the TPA321D and have burned up about 10 of them so far, don't why. It gets super hot as soon as power is put onto it.

What IC amplifier low wattage and low amperage do you recommend for a .3w 16 or 32 Ohm speaker?

Thanks

Steve

  • Hi, Steve,

That is very strange. Something is awry here. Check the power supply to make sure it is within spec and doesnt have any spikes on it.

You could use the tpa6205a1 instead. One big benefit would be a much smaller package size.
