Hi,

I know TAS5768 needs I2S clock as Figure 33. Power-On Reset Timing, DVDD = 3.3Vshows in the datasheet.

After Power-On Reset, does TAS need I2S clock to set register?

Is I2C write command acceptable in case of no I2S clock?

Hi,

Since the registers are only written using I2C SDA and SCL lines, if the part is correctly powered, it should not require any I2S data in order to write and set registers.

It is great news if TAS5766/68 I2C module accept the data transaction without I2S or SCK clocking.

Is this function confirmed at mass production characterization before RTM?

If so, it is better to add this feature into the datasheet, may be nobody know now.
