Hi,
I want to use the loopback function in AIC3104. How to turn on SW-D1 and SW-D3? Thanks!

Hello Jerry,
This SW-D1 isn't actually used for digital loop back. It's used to use the extra DAC processing in record only mode. This is described on pg 28 of the datasheet: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tlv320aic3104.pdf. Basically what happens is SW-D1 closes and Sw-D2 closes as well, so DoutL is the output of the "effects" block instead of the output directly from the ADC.
To get digital loopback we typically do a hardware loopback, where you use a jumper to short the Dout to DIn, for example on J14 of the USB EVMMOD. You will also need to turn SW2.4 to off to disconnect the I2S from the tas1020b to avoid contention and switch the device to master (wclk and bclk) which can be done with the GUI.
Please let me know if you need any more help setting this up,
Nate
