Hi all,

According to datasheet of TPA3130D2, when TPA3130D2 modulation mode is 1SPW, efficiency is improved in this mode due to the reduction of switching losses.

- How much is the efficiency improved against BD mode?

- Is the LC filter configuration the same as BD mode? or AD mode?

Hi, Toshi-san,

You can use the BD mode filter config for 1SPW mode. The efficiency improvement is dependent on several factors such as output filter, PVDD, Load etc. It can be a few percentage improvement at idle condition. I would recommend using the EVM to obtain the precise numbers based on your operating condition and output filter.
