The Purepath console board has breakouts for external I2S, is there some way gain access to the I2C bus so that I can write my software that is going to send I2C commands?
I see that I2C is on the holes for where the display connector goes, but will they fight over the clock signal?

Hi Jon,
In order to use your own I2C commands, you need to remove resistors R135 and R136, then you can connect your signals on the SCL and SDA orange test points on the board.
The red circle in the schematic indicates the resistors to be removed. This was taken from Purepath Console Board User guide (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slou366a/slou366a.pdf), page 18.
