Question about TAS5001/TAS5010

Our customer want to use TAS5001 or TAS5010 because of wide range operating temperature.

I got some questions about these devices from them.

A) Though #6-pin is NC in data sheet,
what is the reason #6-pin is connected to GND in the circuit of SLAA117A and SLEA035A ?

B) #11 and #12-pin are labeled as SDA and SCL in the circuit of SLEA035.
Is it right?

C) SLLS419A is not found,
which is mentioned in data sheet as a reference.

  • Hi, Ito-san,

    A) It is very common to ground NC pins.

    B) This appears to be a mistake. You can verify it on the layout diagram in the Users Guide.

    C) SLLS419A is the data sheet for a device that has been obsoleted  (TAS5100). The datasheet is still on-line, but is SLLS419B now.
