HI

I saw a forum thread on some challenges of using CC8531 wth CC2591

Would like to check if it is possible to match CC8531 with CC2592?

What are the estimated improvement in terms of output power and sensitivity for above combination?

I saw this numbers on the CC8531 and CC2590 webpage

  • Seamless Support for CC2590 Range Extender (+11 dBm Output Power, 
    –87 dBm Sensitivity)

Hope CC8531 with CC2592 can give significant better result if they can work together.

  • Hi Ivan,

    The CC2592 would give an output power ~20 dBm. As a reference you could use the CC2538-CC2592 reference design. The CC2538 and the CC85xx are very similar when it comes to the RF part.
