Dear Sir,

My customer want to test their CC8520's TX performance and they need continue signal output form channel 1/9/18. We use prod_test_simplerf_tx.ppwptc and hope it can generate signal out continuely but it always send out 2sec. signal and stop no matter we change the "sample" parameter to 10 or 1000. Would you please helping to tell me how to generate TX signal continuely by using only 1 dout unit? Or they need to prepare TESTER unit and run "pretest" funciton to send out longer signal (more cycles)?

Hi Gary,

Can you use the RX/TX test window directly for this or alternatively use the command and monitoring panel and input the commands directly?

Hi Kjetil,

I check RT/TX test window and program TESTER/SLAVE units. It looks good(check through RX plot). Hope that can work correctiy in single TESTER unit. Thank you.

Hi Both,

In order to test Tx/Rx performance, I preload the production test image from PPW Configurator.

Then use PPW commander to test CW Tx, but Single tone just appears in one sec on spectrum.

It seems that I also saw this problem on CC8520. I am beginner of pure path tool user.

It may something wrong :(

I also have same problem. The CW single tone only appears for 1 sec on spectrum......what's the initial condition for TX/RX test?

Do you have both TX and RX units? Maybe you need both side to make a connection and then you can measure the continue signal..?

Hi,

What i am doing is verifying the RF performance, so I should be using single PCB to do this RF manual test. similar with EMC test purpose. :)

From my test setup, CC8531+CC2590EVB can generate CW signal normally, but my PCB(same circuit as EVB) generate TX signal only 0.5sec.

Can someone help to trouble shooting with that?
