Information about PWM signal for TAS5152 (PWM input class D power amp)

I'm seeking information about the PWM signal input of the PWM input class D power amp so I can generates it from non-TI DSP device or FPGA. 

I have read the datasheet from TAS5008 and  device. It did not say much about the PWM specification or resolution. 

The reason I'm doing this that it remove the need for audio DAC for the audio input PA (TAS5615) and thus reduce the cost of the system and more reliable. In addition, the PWM class D power amp has better range than audio input (with good harmonics spec).
