TAS5754 EQ Code

Hi,

I used TAS5754EVM and open the GUI. It can hear the music and I press the green arrow and fine tune the EQ. I used logging to dump the "20141105.TXT" file. It can work very well.

So, I turn off power, re-plug USB and re-star the GUI again. But this time, I don't press the green arrow. I used AIC3254 GUI to write the "20141105.TXT" to TAS5754. But the EQ can't work.

It seems something miss. Does any initial code request? Thanks!

Hi Jerry,

I will have someone look into this. It looks like you only logged the EQ fine tuning, but not the inital download. You need to do a complete register dump. Click "Mode" button to switch from basi to advance mode then click the "Direct I2C Read/Write" tab. There you will find option to do a "Register Dump."

Hi Damian,

Yes, I did it. But when I used the command line to execute the data, the GUI will disconnect TAS5754EVM and the code size is quite big. Do you have the initial code and how about the code size? Thanks!

Jerry,

There isn't a basic initialization code you can run and have the processing capability of the miniDSP blocks. The large code size configures the miniDSP for the process flow selected. My recommendation is do a before and after download register dump then compare to find the registers that been updated and only write those registers. Don't exclude the page select commands. This should help reduce the code size.
