Hi,

We believe that the maximum value of the modulation index limit is 97.7% since there is mentioned on page 8 of TAS5624A data sheet regarding it as below.
Is our understanding correct?
In addition, what may happen if the audio source which is applied the modulation index limit of 99.2% is input?

    Kato-san,

    I asked my colleague to look into this post. Unfortunately, he won't be back in office until next week. 

    From the d/s modulator front-end is limited to 97.7%. TAS5624A should be able to reach 100% duty cycle, but not recommended. The modulator front-end device should be used to limit the modulation index of TAS5624A.

    If your modulator front-end device applies 99.2% modulation index to TAS5624A, the output of TAS5624A should have a modulation limit of 99.2%.
