DIX4192 Question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DIX4192

Hello,

I have some question of DIX4192.

Q1

When I do not use "RX4+ RX4-" pin, how should I do pin processing? Open? GND?

Q2

When I use MCLK for a reference clock of RX, does RXCKI not need to use it?

Q3

What kind of case are BLS and SYNC necessary for?

When I use Tx, is it necessary by all means?

Q4

When I use Tx by the "Unbalanced Output Without Transformer", how should Tx- process a pin? GND? Open?

Best Regards,

Kei

  • 1: Connect both to GND with a 0.1uF capacitor to avoid any noise issues on unused RX pins.
2: Correct. Please make sure that your MCLK is appropriate for the RXCLK
3: Those signals may be useful for the system. If you don't require them you can ignore them. You can use them in TX mode, if you want to force a block start conditions (but you don't have to - please configure it as an output if you don't want to use BLS)
    4: Open.

    26 - 29 pins : Open?

    34 pin : Open?

    35 pin : Pull down?

    36 pin : Open?

    40 pin : Open?
