Hi,
I am using TAS5717 to drive 2 W speakers. I will supplying 24V as PVDD. Is it safer to drive 2W speaker using TAS5717 with 24V?

Hi Charles,
With PVDD= 24V, you need to limit the output power using TAS5717 DRC, otherwise the speaker will probably be damaged. Another solution would be to use a lower PVDD.

Hi Diego,
Thank you for the replay. I am planning to use 5V instead of 24V. I hope this will be fine to drive 2W speaker, won't it?
