PCM9211 DIT configuration

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM9211EVM-U, PCM9211

Using the PCM9211EVM-U Evaluation Board I am unable to route valid a Valid SPDIF output from the DIT to MP0.

Firstly I set up the PCM9211 to accept an SPDIF 44.1kHz input on RXIN3 and rout this through to Main Out and MPO0 as shown below: The correct output was decoded on both the Main (I2S) and MPO0 (SPDIF) outputs

I then tried to get an SPDIF output from a range of inputs connected to the DIT. Below is the same setup as above, SPDIF 44.1kHz input RXIN3 to Main out and then routed through the DIT to MPO0. The register settings for the DIT were as below:

An Audio Precision APx52x was unable to get SPDIF lock and therefore decode the SPDIF MPO0 output. I then connected the output to a device with an adaptive sample rate converter which was able to decode the signal but there was a zipper noise on the right channel modulated over the signal. Do I have the registers incorrectly setup for the DIT and what settings are required ?

Thank you in advance.
