AIC3204 headset detection with external bias

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320AIC3204Dear, I am trying to use the AIC3204 headset feature with an external bias because my mic need higher than the 2v6 max output voltage provided by the AIC3204. I am looking for a 3v3 voltage for my mic. I am using the AIC3204 evm. I succeed to validate this feature with the EVM using jumper configuration provided by the EVM headset feature. Note that I had to set Headset Detection Debounce time to 256 ms to be able to make difference between stereo headset and stereo + cellular. Now, trying to apply an external bias on TP8 (with switch W8 set position 1-2) : it still work if external supply applied is less than AIC 3204 Mic bias. As soon as external bias is set to a higher voltage, the "Headset Type detected" toogle from none to stereo + cellula at the debounce time refresh rate. I assume that with some processing in my Host, I should be able to filter this, but I would like to know if it is possible to avoid this Host processing to get AIC3204 headset detection feature with external bias > 2v6. Thanks Nicolas
