TAS3108 signal generator at 192 KHz sample frequency

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS3108

Hello

I am interested in generating 38 KHz tone from TAS3108 using 192 KHz sample frequency but i read that this component only working  with

  • 32 kHz
  • 44.1kHz
  • 48 kHz

sample rates.

there is possible to generate 38 KHz from TAS3108 ?

i want to use external D/A conventer working at 192 KHz .

Best Regards

Robert

Robert, the 32kHz, 44.1kHz, and 48kHz are used to decribe the limits of the software component (I suspect in this case you are refering to the Tone Generator).

The TAS3108 should work fine with an audio sampling rate of 192kHz, however the Tone Component relies on a look-up table that is internal to the part. If you need to generate a 38kHz tone, you can create your own DSP component using the IDE, and Component Publisher tool, both of which are included in the PurePath Studio package free of change.
