Hi team,

I got some request from the customer. I would like to check with you if we have suitable solution.

I2S covert solution as below function:

4 input different data rate and clock convert to 4 output same data rate and clock

If customer wants to use SRC4192-Q1, what is the block diagram will look like ? Can you help to draw a block for them to understand ?

Also What if customer want to use SRC4190, what is the block diagram will look like ? which one you recommend ?

Hi Prescott,

Can you elaborate on the audio input. when you say I2S do you mean Left and Right per I2S line? is that 8 total audio channels in when using I2S? And when you say 4 I2S out, is that again 8 individual channels of audio? Whats the condition for inputting analog versus digital?

Hi Justin,

At input side, we have 4 independent stereo audio, total 8 audio channels.
We wish to convert at least two different stereo I2S (4 audio channels) into one multichannel I2S signal.

Hi Prescott,

Here is a possible solution:

There will have to be a signal to the MUXs from the audio source to choose between Analog or digital audio. The PCM1864 can send an interrupt when it receives an analog signal, but a host controller must take action.
