PurePath wo EVM?

PurePath FAQ says it can operate without an EVM. Mine hasn't arrived yet.

When I start PurePath Console, I get the message, "Searching for connected targets..." and it hangs.

Anyway around this?

Thanks.

  • Hi Max,

Can you please describe the PurePath Console version and EVM you want to use with it in order to take a better approach on this situation?

    Thanks and best Regards,

  • Diego,

I have the PurePath Console, V2.1.
My EVM is the PCM3070EVM-K connected to the USB-MODEVM interface board.

When I launch the PurePath Console it says it is searching for connected targets and hangs. I checked the docs and found that PurePath Console does not support this EVM but the other PurePath version does support the PCM3070EVM-K.

I have successfully run the PCM3070EVM-K Control Software but it doesn’t support the MiniDSP programming. This is what I need the PurePath software to assist me with programming.

    Thank you.

  • Hi Max,

I think that the software you are looking for is Purepath Studio. In order to get it, you need to request access in http://www.ti.com/.../aicpurepath_studio. This tool allows you to program the MiniDSP of the device. If you want to get more information on MiniDSP programming, I suggest you to take a look to our PurePath Studio wiki

  • My original request was for the Studio version. I submitted the request. Need it asap. If you can help, would be most appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Max,

Thanks for the clarification, you should receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to download PurePath Studio in a few hours.
