Hello

My customer had started to evaluate TAS5614L for next year model.

Please let me know about TAS5612L-TAS5614LDDVEVM user's manual slau375b.pdf .

The M1~M2 terminal is set to ground. (AD mode )

However, my understanding is TAS5558 can be used not only AD mode, but also BD and ternary mode.

Would you please let me know why AD mode? ( BD mode is not recommended?)

Hi Shibatani-san,

The TAS5614LA and the TAS5558 must be configured at the same modulation for a good audio quality.
It is often recommended to use the BD mode because it is able to avoid using LC filters with good performance.
But for applications with LC filters the AD mode is better to improve the EMC performance, and this is the mode used to generate the D/S plots.
