Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA6130A2, TLV320AIC3100, TLV320AIC3204Hi, I would like to reduce my PCBA Bill Of Material (BOM) that is composed of the AIC3204 + TPA6130A2 + TPA2028. It is a LiIon batteyr powered device, and I woulf like to avoid BGA package. Is there a more complete AIC that includes both 1-3 W class D amplifier as well as Class G amplifier ? I would like not to change too much my AICxx drivers. Thanks. Nicolas

Hi,

Note also that I want to have the beep generator and the Headset type detection that provide the AIC3204.

Hi Nicolas,

TLV320AIC3100 might be a good choice; it is close to your application needs but it has an integrated 2.5W Class-D amplifier.

Ivan, Thanks for your comment. The codec I am looking for needs 2DAC, 2ADC, beep generator and if possible headset detection. The AIC3100 doesn't have theses featutes. Perhaps one other P/N ? Thanks. Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

Then I think TLV320AIC3204 might be one of the best choices; this part has headset detection and beep generator. Some of the codecs with integrated speaker amp don't have beep generator or headset detection and don't reach that output power.
