Hello,
I have an audio module with the TPA3116D2 power amplifier. I notice that when the volume is turned all the way up I can hear the cooling fans through the speakers. I confirmed this by removing one of the fan modules. This caused the other fans to spin faster and thus the noise from the speaker also got louder. I suspect that this is a ground loop problem but I am unable to isolate the two power supplies.
I have looked into common mode choke coils and some DC power filtering modules. However I am limited on space on my PCB so I want to avoid using very large components.
Do you have any advice on solving this problem?
