PCM2903C USB Audio Codecs

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM2903C

I'm looking for the PCM2903C usb audio drivers for use with windows 7.

I was looking on the TI website at: ti.com but the "read more >" link doesn't resolve to a valid URL. Is there any way that I can get these updated windows drivers? This is directly related to the usbaudio.sys files.

I realize that windows updates will be able to get a newer generic usb audio codec but I am using a custom windows 7 embedded image that I've created, and it does not have the windows store or windows update components of the operating system, so that's not an option.

Thanks for any help and/or direction,

Jonathan

  • Hi Jonathan,

Welcome to E2E and thank you for your interest in our products!

This device is recognized as usb audio codec automatically so we don't offer any drivers.
I see the problem here is that you're not using a full W7 system. I think you can copy the required files from a full W7 system to your system installation directories to make your system able to recognize standard usb audio devices. Attached you will find a view of the driver details in a W7 system.
Let me know if you need further support.

  • Thanks. I used a utility and pulled those over already from a full windows 7 system while waiting for your response. If this is the "best" method for managing this, I'll keep that in my development documentation.

    Thanks,
    Jonathan
