I looking to enable the noise gating feature on the TLV320AIC3106 codec. Can you please suggest typical register values for the internal AGC. My objective is too reduce the noise floor as much as possible before the input is digitized and sent to the DSP. My signal going into the codec is about 130mVrms or 488mVpp.

Greatly appreciate the help!

    Hi Neil,

    Generally, the AGC tuning is done in the practice and with the end system conditions. Using the GUI of the AIC3106 will be useful as it includes an easy way to configure the AGC settings in the AGC tab.
