TPA3112D, DC Detect

I have several hundred devices in the field and occasionally receive a comment that a device no longer produces audio out. The only way to clear the fault is a power cycle, leading me to believe the TPA3112 is in a DC Detect fault.

Question: is their a safe way to put the TPA into a DC Detect mode to help isolate this issue.

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no way with this device to view which fault was triggered.

Do you have the SD and FALT pins tied together?
This will auto clear a short circuit failure in the event a short was causing the issue.

Have to tried measuring DC output voltage to see if gets close to the trip thresholds under normal use?

Yes; I have SD and FALT tied together.

I have not measured the DC output voltage, but will take a look and compare to the threshold.
