TLV320DAC23IPW + Raspberry PI = sound distortion

Hi all,

We develope the  an extansion board for Raspberri PI
On ext. board   codec TLV320DAC23IPW is installed
TLV320DAC23IPW which on the I2S interface receives a sound and  transform it then to an analog form.
In this codec adjusting registers on I2C their description are programmed were in a datasheet
www.ti.com/.../tlv320dac23.pdf

Initially for TLV320DAC23IPW there was crystal 12 МHz but the sound went with distortions.  At first we thought  that it because  crystal frequency not  12,288 MHZ as reccomended and  mistiming ocured.
On a place of  crystal quartz soldered the conductor and (incidentally) long about 25 cm. Bords begin to work  without distortion of a sound also to this day tested with a throttle from 680 nH to 1 mkHn and too everything works.
Surprisingly with quartz of 12,288 MHZ the sound too goes the distorted.

There is a question – what to do.? If the chip works only with inductance instead of crystal . about what it is told nothing in a datasheet.
