Hi engineer,

Now I have a trouble about USB connection between TAS5132EVM (actually TUSB3210) and my PC (Windows7 64bit OS).

The problem is that "USB Error" in STATUS is displayed and I can not control TAS5086 via my PC at all.

Windows7 recognizes TAS5132EVM as human interface device when connecting USB cable.

Do I need to install a specific USB driver? How do I solve this problem?

Hi,

This problem may be related to the corruption of the EEPROM of the EVM. According to This post, a similar problem was solved by reprogramming the EEPROM. You can find the required software for the EEEPROM on this post. You need to make sure that you installed the latest software that can be downloaded from the product folder page on ti.com.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately I can not fix this problem, simply because your suggested link does not show how to reprogram the EEPROM.

From this link, I only confirm it is possible to fix this problem when replacing the correct EEPROM.

Please re-confirm this and tell me how to reprogram the EEPROM by using TAS5132EVM.

Hi Diego,

I found the root cause.
This USB Error causes TAS5086GUI software (V1.1) which is bundled in EVM package.

Could you provide me the latest TAS5086GUI software and the latest configuration file for TAS5132?

Hi,

Yo can download the latest TAS5086 PurePath(TM) GUI version (4.0) from the product folder of the TAS5132DDV2EVM
