AIC3254 software loading with different MCU?

This may probably a very novice question, but it is important to have good information while beginning.

So recently I manufactured an audio codec PCB using AIC3254 and PIC32MX220F032B MCU(For I2S comm only). I wonder the programming flow of the software, since now there is a different controller for the AIC3254? Is there any training material or local support eligible for such cases? Will using an MCU, for I2S purpose only, make any difference in the development?

In gist, a guide to load the software of PurePath Studio into the codec.

Hi, Arjun,

The TLV320AIC3254 supports the I2C and SPI protocols for programming. There should be no difference if you're using a different controller. It must only respect the I2C and SPI timing. Please take a look of the following document for the programming sequence: Design and Configuration Guide for the TLV320AIC3204 and TLV320AIC3254 Audio Codecs.
