TLV320AIC3204 - Difference between I2S,LJF & RJF modes of operation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320AIC3204, AM3352

Hi all,

We are using TLV320AIC3204 audio codec in one of our designs.
We have interfaced this codec with AM3352 processor working in Master mode with codec configured as slave.

From the codec side there are 4 possible mode of operation for the digital audio lines i.e.I2S, LJF, RJF & DSP.

But the datasheet of the audio codec has a single timing diagram for I2S,LJF & RJF modes.
We would like to know the difference between these modes.
Will the data latching edge varies or is it just the justification aspects ?
Please clarify.
Thanks,
