Hi Forum,

I am currently using a TAS5710 in a enterprise conferencing solution and need to know how much longer the part will be supported by TI.

I realize that this is an older part and we need to evaluate newer solutions in our next design if the support model for the 10 will be deprioritized in the next year or two.

    Hi Jay,

    We are looking for this information. We will continue supporting the TAS5710 but we strongly recommend the use of our newer amplifiers. They have better overall performance and reduced BOM.

    Hi, Jay,

    We never discontinue products without a very good reason. So, this part will remain as long as the fab can build it, but our support (and tools) are somewhat limited.

    For best support, and bang for your buck, always use our newest devices.
