Could AIC3204 do?

If yes, How could I set the Register ?

Hi, Nat,

Actually, this path can be configured with page 0 / register 33: Audio Interface Setting Register 6. Bit D1 (Primary Data Out output control) must be configured as 1 to make this loopback.

1.What is the "S" mean? (S_BCLK, S_DIN, S_WCLK....)
2. The S_BCLK, S_DIN, S_WCLK....are internal net (or path)?

Hi, Nat,

1. This codec supports two audio serial interfaces (primary and secondary). "S "means that the line is part of the secondary interface. This interface is normally used when an additional serial interface is needed or when the primary interface is already in use.

2. S_BCLK, S_DIN, S_WCLK ... are connected to the secondary serial interface to process the input/output data, similar to the primary interface.

If I only set the following two registers:

Page 0 / Register 31: Audio Interface Setting Register 4, Secondary Audio Interface -0x00 / 0x1F (P0_R31)

D0 (Secondary Data Input Multiplexer) 0: Secondary Data Input = GPIO

Page 0 / Register 33: Audio Interface Setting Register 6 - 0x00 / 0x21 (P0_R33)

D1 (Primary Data Out output control) 1: DOUT output = Secondary Data Input (Loopback)

Does it mean that GPIO is connecting DOUT?

Hi, Nat,

You're right. Additionally, you must configure Page 0 / Register 52: GPIO/MFP5 Control Register to use GPIO input for secondary audio interface (bits D5 - D2 = 0001).
