I've designed and built a circuit based on the schematic and layout of the TPA3140D2EVM. Its data sheet isn't very clear on how to use the parallel BTL configuration, wherein a single speaker is powered by the left and right amplifier channels. It says (section 2.5.2), "connect a single load from one of the left speaker jacks to one of the right speaker jacks depending on how the filters are loaded."
As shipped, all components are loaded, as they are on my own board.
The TPA3140D2 IC data sheet shows tying together the P&M of each channel before the ferrite bead in PBTL mode (as well as the bootstrap cap pins) in Figure 26. I'm not able to do this in my design, but if I can run in PBTL mode, I'd like to know how (I AM able to ground the left channel inputs).
Thanks.
