Hi,

Datasheet first page shows a graph with '2 layer' and '4layer' continuous power : what does it mean? Do the layers refer to the pcb?

Yes, it refers to the PCB layers, 4 Layer PCB offers better thermal performance to the TAS5731M.

So you mean we should add 2 more layers to the pcb which should be exclusively ground layers??

Hi Eden,

That will be the best way to do so without changing the design of your board. Generally a Ground layer and Power supply layer are used in four layer PCBs.
