TAS5717 How to Output Internal /FAULT Signal to A_SEL or HP_SD Pin

Hi,

Could you please tell us how to output the internal /FAULT signal(D1 bit of 0x02) to A_SEL or HP_SD pin if possible ?

Is our understanding correct although we believe that D1 bit and D0 bit for the 0x05 register should be "D1 = 1" and "D0 = 0" ?

Hi Kato-san,

Your Assumption is correct, in order to monitor /FAULT signal on A_SEL/HP_SD pin you need to configure the pin as output (D1=1) and select /FAULT as the source for the pin (D0=0).

Thank you for your quick reply.
I have an additional question.
So, I believe that this internal power stage /FAULT signal is transited from the low level to the high level similarly since TAS5717 automatically returns to normal operation once the fault condition is removed.
Is my understanding correct ?

Hi Kato-san,

Yes, /FAULT signal follows the fault status of the power stage.
