Hello all,

I seen TI has hardware and software for smart amplifiers. And I thought "That would work great for what I am doing". So I tried to get the software, but then I seen "Unfortunately, we don’t approve hobbyists or students for the PurePath™ Smart Amp tools." I somewhat understand why, It allows manufactures sole right to new technologies. So what is a hobbyist or a student to do? I could not find any reference material, or information on theory. 

So what could I do? Is there something I could do, to get information on how smart amplifiers work?

I do apologize if I may be asking the wrong question, or if my question is not appropriate.
